Fabien Danesi

Doctor in Art History, Fabien Danesi is a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Picardie Jules Verne in France. His research focuses on Situationist International and on postmodernity. His books and essays include "Le Mythe brisé de l'Internationale situationniste: l'aventure d'une avant-garde au cœur de la culture de masse (1945-2008)" (Dijon, Les Presses du réel, 2008), "Le Cinéma de Guy Debord ou la négativité à l'œuvre (1952-1994)" (Paris, Paris expérimental, 2011), "La Beauté de l'indifférence ou le pat de Marcel Duchamp" (Paris, Sens & Tonka, 2012 and 2014) and "L'Extase esthétique. Jean Baudrillard et la consommation/consumation de l’art" (Paris, Sens & Tonka, 2014). Member of AICA-France, he was Head of the program for the Pavillon, the research lab of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. He has curated La Nuit, les molécules, l’horizon (FRAC Corse, 2015) Urban Legends (Seoul, SeMA, 2016) and Prec(ar)ious Collectives (Athens, 2017).
